Messiah's
Throughout history human kind has been scared of our environment, scared of weather, and scared of disease. For some odd reason we have decided to blame these events on gods of one sort or another. In the past there have been many Messiahs and apparently there still are some people who think they are. But have any of them stuck to the real definition, I didn't see Jesus leading his people is massive armies...

Opening Statement (Aidan)
In modern day society only some of us have come to terms that there is no higher "power." The rest of us live in fear of a god that does not exist, they pray every night, in fear that they will go to hell. As we live in fear, we cannot sufficiently advance. Either religion goes, or we go. In the world that we have created, there is no room for overwhelming superstition. I argue that we don't know if there is a god, we don't know if we were created by a higher power, how can we know?
-Aidan McKinney
"The Bible and the Church have been the greatest stumbling blocks in the way of women's emancipation."
-Elisabeth Cady Stanton
"All religions have been made by men."
-Napoleon Bonaparte
"I turned to speak to God, About the world's despair; But to make bad matters worse, I found God wasn't there."
-Robert Frost
"Christianity is the most perverted system that ever shone on man."
-Thomas Jefferson
"If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for a reward, then we are a sorry lot indeed."
-Albert Einstein
"This would be the best of all possible worlds, if there were no religion in it."
-John Adams
"The Bible is not my book nor Christianity my profession. I could never give assent to the long, complicated statements of Christian dogma."
-Abraham Lincoln
So you see, even some of our founding fathers, savours and poetys were atheist.
